2-29-24 Broker Supervision in Virginia
This course meets the 2 credit requirement for brokers that explains the duties of the Supervising Broker which is specified in the Virginia Real Estate Regulations Title 54.1, Chapter 21.
The definition of Supervising Broker will be reviewed, and each of the responsibilities will be discussed.
Real estate professionals will leave with the understanding of:
1. The Supervising Broker’s role in the brokerage management structure,
2. The Commitment required to ensure real estate brokerage functions and services are provided in accordance with applicable laws and regulations,
3. And, the Responsibility for ensuring that agents competently
provide brokerage services, that their marketing does not violate current rules and regulations, and their agreements and contracts are complete and correct.
This is the 2 hour credit specific requirement for all Broker licensees that is in addition to Broker Mgmt.
