11-1-23 Septic Systems

This Training will provide you with in depth, detailed information on septic systems. The Agent will be presented with the how to obtain approval for septic system, the different types of septic systems, how septic systems function, the annual required septic inspections and inspections for real estate transfers.
The Agent will be instructed on the steps and processes for obtaining a septic approval, from the initial site and soil evaluation through submission to the local health department. The different types of septic systems, conventional and alternative, will be discussed and how each of the different systems work. We will review the requirements and regulations for annual inspection of the alternative systems. We will discuss the various existing system inspections for real estate transfers.
